Job Description: This position is located in Willmar, MN and is open to all qualified job seekers.
The purpose of this position is to provide receptionist functions for the District 8 Headquarters building, as well as backing up the Marshall Receptionist, as needed. This position will also order supplies and services, process Electronic Inter-Office Requisitions and purchase orders, and provide support services to District employees as needed.
Minimum
Qualifications: - English sufficient to perform the job duties described above, edit reports, letters and documents for correct grammar, punctuation, spelling and format.
- Customer service sufficient to: provide prompt, courteous and accurate information; explain information; take directives; or address complaints to customers in person and on the phone using positive problem solving, empathy, respect and by organizing the ideas logically.
- Word/data processing sufficient to use various software to create, format, edit, print, spell check and save a variety of documents, including tables, charts, graphs, reports, invoices, financial statements and letters so that they are accessible later, if needed.
- Spreadsheet applications sufficient to: create spreadsheets from a variety of sources; compile, store and retrieve data; and create graphs to track projects and activities.
- Database management to enter and retrieve data for reports, compile information and perform preliminary analyses.
- Math sufficient to: add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers, fractions and decimals; calculate percentages; and use simple formulas sufficient to compute and verify totals on reports, requisitions, bills and blanket purchase orders.
- Keyboard/type a variety of documents accurately at 40 wpm with five errors or less.
- Documented satisfactory performance.
Duties include using and being on the phone for both short and extended periods of time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use wrists, hands, and fingers to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel or crouch.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is often required to sit for more than 2/3 of the work time. Entering/keyboarding information into computers is required in this job. Information is also communicated through writing, speaking and using the telephone. The employee regularly works at a desk or counter, seated and visually interpreting information off of a computer monitor
while performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; use wrists, hands, and fingers to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and squat bend, kneel or crouch.
The employee must lift and/or move occasionally up to 20 pounds and frequently up to 10 pounds. Rarely lift 50 pound box of copier paper, frequently lift a ream of paper up to five pounds.
Preferred
Qualifications: - Receptionist experience.
- Knowledge of MnDOT organization, department procedures, regulations and functions.
- Knowledge of computer software including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and SWIFT
- Use intermediate spreadsheet features to develop and modify spreadsheets.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
